If there is nothing but [None] at the selection for [Use OnChip Debugging Emulator] when creating a new project, it does not mean the on-chip emulator is not available. Also you can use the on-chip emulator even if you select [None] by the following reasons.
The actual area which the program for an on-chip emulator is allotted is the area which is set when connecting an on-chip emulator.
The program area for an on-chip emulator which is actually allotted is not affected by the setting of the program area at [Use OnChip Debugging Emulator] when creating a new project.
The setting on creating a new project is to make the program area for an on-chip emulator in advance during developing a user program. By this setting, in case a user program and the program area for an on-chip emulator overlap, the warning message is displayed by linker on building. Because of this, please apply the same setting as on creating a new project and on connecting an on-chip emulator.
In case the part of the setting for the program area is grayed out and it cannot be set anything, it indicates there is no area which the program for an on-chip emulator is allotted.
In case you cannot select anything but [None] from the pull-down menu of [Use OnChip Debugging Emulator], it indicates the overlapping check function for the program area for an on-chip emulator and a user program has not supported yet. In this case make sure the program area for the on-chip emulator which you are using, and take a note not to use this program area by the user program.
