Do I need to set 1 to the corresponding bit in the DMA transfer?

Latest Updated:05/16/2011

Question:

Even though DMA transfer has ended, the corresponding bit in the DMA transfer end detect register (DMEDET) does not get set to 1.

Answer:

Check that a read-modify-write instruction is not being used to clear the corresponding bit in the DMEDET register in another channel.
Set only the corresponding bit in the DMEDET register to 1, then write bytes.
For more information, please refer to the "DMA Transfer End Detect Register" section in the "DMA Controller (DMAC)" chapter of the hardware manual.
