Can the additional-programming process be omitted?

Latest Updated:03/25/2009

Question:

In “Program/Program-Verify Flowchart,” there is “Additional-programming data computation.” Can the additional-programming process be omitted?

Answer:

No, it can’t.
Some bits may not be fully charged even if retried six times after rewriting.
This kind of bit needs to be additionally written “0” and fully charged.
As mentioned above, writing “0” additionally to the bit which may not be fully charged is called “Additional-programming.”
